Beyond
General Pain

Autoimmune diseases are often called "The Great Imitators" because they mimic other conditions. A standard check-up may miss them. At RiLINUS, we dive deep into specific molecular markers:

01
ANA Hep-2 (Gold Standard)

The primary screen for SLE and other systemic connective tissue diseases. It looks for antibodies that attack your own cell nuclei.

02
Anti-CCP Precision

More specific than Rheumatoid Factor, Anti-CCP can predict the development of joint erosions years before they appear.

03
Serum Protein Electrophoresis

A critical test for identifying abnormal protein bands (M-Spike) which help diagnose plasma cell disorders.

The dsDNA Marker

"Positive dsDNA antibodies are highly specific for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and are often used to monitor disease activity and kidney involvement."

Smooth Muscle & Mitochondrial Ab

These tests (ASMA & AMA) are critical for evaluating unexplained liver dysfunction and chronic fatigue, helping diagnose Autoimmune Hepatitis or Primary Biliary Cholangitis.

Patient Guidance

Is fasting required for these tests?

No. Most autoimmune serology tests (ANA, RF, Anti-CCP) do not require fasting.

How long for reports?

Complex markers like dsDNA and Anti-CCP take 36-48 hours for precise verification.

What if my ANA is positive?

A positive ANA doesn't always mean disease. It must be correlated with clinical symptoms by a Rheumatologist.

Can I take tests during a 'flare'?

Yes. Testing during an active flare-up often gives the most accurate representation of antibody levels.

Why test both CRP and ESR?

CRP reacts quickly to inflammation, while ESR is a slower, more general indicator of chronic activity.

What are Immunoglobulins?

This measures IgG, IgA, and IgM levels to see if your immune system is overproducing or deficient in antibodies.
